The assignment is attached. I am not as strong of a writer as I would like to be so please understand that paper needs to be clear and conscience. Not fluffy and wordy.
Final Paper (± 5 pages, double-spaced, 100 points)
As the basis for this assignment, please review the case materials attached in the Toolbox: an excerpt from Levinson and Fay’s (2016) edited volume, Dilemmas of Educational ethics: Cases and Commentaries.
On the basis of your understandings of various ethical frameworks, our readings and discussions in our course so far, and of leadership practice in community-facing organizations, please answer the following questions: a, b, and c.
a. What are the relevant ethical issues in this case, if we understand the case as framed by one of the “synthesizing” frameworks we have discussed, such as Shapiro and Stefkovich’s ethics of the profession, Zack’s 12 requirements for an ethics of race, Freire’s concept of praxis, or others?
b. Given the framing outlined in your response to question a, what should the educators and school leaders do in this case?
c. What is missing in this analysis? How would other perspectives—those not employed in your responses to a or b above—help us to understand how the educators and school leaders involved should take action in this case?
