Develop three critical bibliographic annotations, balanced between news stories, websites, books, or academic articles. Articles selected from “popular” literature include, for example, periodicals such as Canadian Business Magazine, Report on Business Magazine, The Financial Post Magazine, Fortune, Barons, Forbes, and Business Week. Other magazines, and substantial newspaper articles, are also appropriate. Articles loaded on to SLATE as weekly readings are examples of academic literature.
Each critical annotation should be between 100-150 words as needed to include:
· Complete bibliographic information.
· Information to explain the authority and/or qualifications of the author
· A very brief summary of the work (2-3 sentences max).
· Indicate how the cited work relates to social responsibility and business ethics.
A critical annotation is a brief description of a work such as an article, chapter of a book, book, web site, or movie. It is a summary of the work and it offers a brief opinion of its strength or weakness. Critical annotations survey sources and allow readers to categorize and judge the managerial contribution they make – quickly. Please refer to “How To Write Critical Annotated Bibliographies” at:

He doesn’t refer to any previous works on the topic; however, for a different point of view, one should refer to Joseph Patterson’s, “Television is Truth” (The Journal of Television 45 (6) November/December 1995: 120-135). London’s style and vocabulary would make the article of interest to any reader. The article clearly illustrates London’s points, but does not explore their implications, leaving the reader with many unanswered questions such as …..
