In addition, it should contain information about the topic as well as your thesis statement, which should be the last sentence in your introduction. Your thesis should make a clear argument explaining the need to examine causes relative to the topic.

Focus on transitioning from paragraph to paragraph smoothly to create the sense that all of your sentences are working towards the same purpose—to prove your argumentative essay. Uses only third person pronouns (all first and second person pronouns are prohibited)
