2. Remember that the purpose of this assignment is to allow you to evaluate
your own strengths and weaknesses with respect to leadership and create
an individualized development plan to improve your leadership skills.
3. You will complete the seven questionnaires in the “Leadership
Development Plan” folder within the “Course Contents” tab on the
Blackboard course page. Some of the questionnaires must also be
completed by others who know you well.
You will produce a paper that provides the following:
a. A title page that includes the title “Leadership Development Plan,”
your name, and the date.
b. Section One. Section one of the paper will provide an
interpretation of the scores attained on each Leadership
Questionnaire. In this section, you must use material from at
least five (5) scholarly peer-reviewed sources of information to
interpret the meaning of the scores attained.
c. Section Two. Section two is your individualized development plan.
Here you will discuss your strengths and weaknesses discovered
through the questionnaire process and provide a plan of action to
improve your leadership skills.
d. You must also include a list of the sources of information used
(i.e., a References page). The listing of sources must conform to
the format specified in the Publication Manual of the American
Psychological Association, 6th Edition (APA).
5. The paper will be no less than 1,200 words. The title page and the APA
formatted list of sources of information used will not be counted toward
the total number of words.
6. The paper must be double-spaced, utilize “Times New Roman” 12-pitch
type, with a one inch margin at the top, bottom and both sides of each
page.
7. The format of the title page, the sources cited in the text of the paper, and
the page listing sources of information, must conform to the format
described in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological
Association, 6th Edition (APA).
8. Format, spelling and punctuation will be heavily considered when
evaluating papers.
9. The Leadership Development Plan is worth 90 points and will be graded
in accordance with the Grading Template-Leadership Development Plan
