I’ll be providing a literature review with the proposal topic and information. it’ll also include a lot of the sources but you have to find some on your own.
Unit 4 includes continued development of the research mini proposal. The proposal problem, purpose, and research question should be added. If the proposal is to be quantitative, a null and alternative hypothesis may also be added.
Please include the brief literature review from Unit 3 (so that the instructor can recall your literature review).
Immediately following the literature review, include a draft the problem statement, purpose statement, research question, (and hypotheses).
The problem statement should be a single paragraph, and should be declarative. The problem statement should be well documented (may be academic or nonacademic sources).
The purpose statement should provide a general goal of the study, and should indicate whether the proposed study is quantitative, qualitative, or mixed design.
There should be a single research question. Carefully consider the question because it guides the entire study!
If applicable, state the null and alternative hypotheses in directly testable terms.
Maximize your score by reviewing the grading rubric to ensure you have met the criteria.
Prior to submitting your assignment, check for alignment of your literature gap, problem statement, purpose statement, and research question by asking yourself the questions below. If the answer is “no,” keep working on these sections.
Have I identified a current and compelling problem that, when studied, can contribute valuable knowledge and help to fill my identified gap in the literature?
Will achieving the study purpose provide the data needed to help solve the problem in the future?
Is the research question a restatement of the purpose in the form of a question?
Are the variables in the null and alternative hypotheses the same variables in the research question and purpose?
Add any new references from the problem statement to the reference list at the end of your proposal.
