Motivational Analysis Paper (DUE TUESDAY 11/16/2020 by 11:59pm) will be worth 300 points The purpose of this paper is to identify and research a biography about a person who has overcome seemingly insurmountable and impossible odds and is “successful.” “Successful” is subjective, so that is up to the student to decide if the selected person is “successful” in overcoming the identified obstacles. Students will analyze and assess AT LEAST 1 theory of motivation covered in the course that effectively explains the selected individual’s motivation to overcome the obstacle(s) throughout their life. Students may select to discuss more than 1 theory, but at least one theory is required. Students will provide empirical articles (e.g., journal articles) based on motivational theory and principles to provide support to their personal analysis of the selected person’s biography. Students may select a famous person or someone they know personally. If you select a person you know (e.g., family, friend, etc.) you will need to use the “personal communication” citations.
