We will have break out groups for this assignment. At random the groups will be assigned to either Music or Art therapy as the expressive therapy to focus on. There will likely be 4 groups of 3 who will work on the below assignment together. As a group you will come up with an activity that can be used with a patient/client or group of patients/clients with a specific goal. At the end of the hour, each group will present their modality, goals, and interventions. Each presentation should be about 10 minutes, followed by a question/answer session. The document that should be used as a guide is included. Time permitting, additional examples of creative arts in the hospital may be shared after these presentations. All students are expected to fully participate, both within their group and asking questions/commenting on the other group’s work. do not worry about the group. I missed the class so i have to do it by myself so can you did it for both music and art.
