Takeaways are a special way to memorialize in writing particular aspects of what you have learned from your work in the class. Writing the Takeaways is meant to elicit a deeper reflection on your “personal” reaction to the “stimulus” you have been exposed to. Research has shown that reflection is a powerful learning mechanism. Takeaways are written in first person singular.
