I have no preferance on the topic that I feel passionate about.
What program or event, on the topic of diversity in higher education, do you feel passionate about? How would you create the program? Here is your opportunity to get more experience with program development in student affairs administration. This exercise is for you to demonstrate that you are aware and understand the myriad of topics discussed within the focus of diversity in higher education
Components:
Cover Page – Advertisement of your program (Just a flyer, be creative)
Detailed description of Program – Who is the program for? Why is it needed? What is included in the program? Where is the programming event located? When is the program scheduled?
Statement/List of people support for your program. How will they support?
Instruction & Learning Plan with listed goals and objectives (should include be a schedule of events/topics with duration of each topic, overall goals and the objectives that will meet these goals)
Create an evaluation sheet for the program (Google “program evaluation sheet for examples). Do not stress over this. Do not make it too complicated. I’m giving you the autonomy to be a simplistic or detailed as you choose.
Combine the components into one document and submit in the last module.
