Your paper should include the following:

Discuss the topic, including description of it, a discussion of its importance in the religion and/or elsewhere, and any other matters that will help the reader better understand it. This might include historical, social or other cultural elements, as well as beliefs or texts from the religion.
Summary and closure
Develop a summary that communicates what you learned from this project, both academic, and personal, if you so choose. Share your reaction to the research, your discoveries and to the learning. What will you take from this experience? What questions do you still have? What parts have encouraged you and what made you uncomfortable? What is the most important thing you have learned?
Works cited
This should include any source you used, whether quoted directly or indirectly. Failure to cite appropriately can mean a loss of points from a few up to all the points for the assignment. Citations should be done in MLA style (the library offers helps on putting citations in the correct format). Wikipedia is not an acceptable source; beware also of random web sources.
