Guidelines for Bio 114 Project
Possible Project Formats:
Research Paper: Papers should be at least 5 pages, double-spaced with 12-point font (Calibri or Times New Roman). Sources should be cited within the text with parenthetical references (see me if you need help with this). In addition to the 5-page minimum, papers should include a bibliography of sources on a separate page from the body of the paper. I do not have a preference what style of bibliography you use, as long as your sources are presented alphabetically and in a consistent format.
PowerPoint presentation: PowerPoint presentations should be at least 15 slides with sources in parenthetical references where appropriate. Presentations should also include graphics and photos that support the text on the slide. Be careful to limit the amount of text on any one slide so the viewer can better see your work! Presentations should be emailed to me before class on the last day of lecture. You will be expected to present your PowerPoint to the class on the last day of lecture. As with the research paper option, the last slide of the presentation should be a bibliography of sources in alphabetical order and a consistent format.
Citizen Science Project: If you choose this option, you should choose a project in which you would like to be a participant. Use the site www.SciStarter.org to find a subject which is of interest to you. Get signed up and get involved! As your final project you will report (in a similar format to the research paper or other presentation) on the goal of your project, what you learned and what kinds of data you gathered.
Other formats: If you have a research project idea that is not one of the above formats, talk to me about it as soon as possible. Other possible formats might include, but are not limited to: posters, oral presentations, brochures, videos, websites or podcasts. If it will fit into the research nature of the final project, I am open to other ways of showing what you know!
For project:
– Require at least five sources (more is better!)
– All sources should be reliable. Use the HCC library and reliable online sources (.gov, .org, .edu)
Papers are written from scratch We have molded our writers to develop content for all assignments from scratch. This way, we promote originality and reduce cases of plagiarism that might affect your grades and hinder you from realizing your academic goals. We encourage our clients to indicate the deliverables that should be featured in the final paper. Our online help services allow one to make a clarification and even interact with the writer directly to help them understand the needs of the assignment. Many of our writers are professional tutors who understand the approaches that should be used to fulfill the specified instructions. Every time a client places an order on our system, we link them with the most qualified writer in the subject of interest.
YUnlike other writing companies, we encourage clients to draw back their money at any stage of the writing process if they experience any uncertainties with the quality of generated content. However, you will hardly have to make this decision because of our business approach that suits your needs.
